1.  Discuss what you thought about creating your logo. It was fun to experiment with different colors and designs.  2.  Describe the process: creative thinking skills and ideas you used in the logo creation. While creating the logo I tried to use colors and designs that I thought best represented me. 3.  What was the most important discovery you made in the creation of your logo? While I wanted the logo to be colorful I also wanted to make sure the colors used looked good together. 4.  What is the most important information you learned from watching the videos, powerpoint, and reading material for this project? What is your opinion of the videos? When creating a logo it is important to fully grasp the subject that you are creating a logo for. Watching the videos made me think about some of the most well-known logos and the process that was made to get there.

1. Discuss what you thought about creating the Value Scale and Color Wheel.       Creating the Value Scale and Color Wheel was fairly easy. Actually making both the scale and wheel instead of just looking at examples and watching videos furthered my understanding of the concepts.  2. Which media did you enjoy working with the best and why? I enjoyed working on the Color Wheel best. It was fun working with colors and mixing them. I enjoyed working with the paint.  3. What was the most important discovery in the creation of these studies? While creating the scale and wheel I discovered the importance of shading in terms of the scale and which colors to mix in terms of the wheel.  4. Module Three

1.  Describe Color and it's effects on emotions. Use the appropriate vocabulary of color in your posting.      Color can capture the intensity of a work of art. Colors work off of one another to create the setting and mood of a work of art. The emotions felt by an individual viewing an art piece is dependent on the color palette, and even the individual themselves.        2.   What is a theoretical aspect of color that most intrigues/fascinates you? Why?      A theoretical aspect of color that intrigues me the most is emotion. It is interesting what certain colors can symbolize for people, and in turn how those colors affect how they see a work of art.         3.  In the Color video, what made the biggest impact on you in regards to color and it's effects on emotions?      The biggest impact the video made on me was how color can affect the mood of a painting. Module #2 1. For each video and article list/discuss the key concepts you learned.           The video Aesthetics: Philosophy of the Arts, discusses philosophical theories about aesthetics and art. Most of the theories seemed to be most focused on the "definition" of aesthetics, as well as defining what is "beautiful."The video Evolutionary Origins of Art and Aesthetics takes more of a scientific route, discussing the evolution of the human brain, and in turn its evolution of processing art and aesthetic. The article What The Brain Draws From: Art and Neuroscience, takes another look at how our brains affect the way we process works of art. 2.  Which philosopher's theroy on aesthetics do you feel is most important? 1st Blog Post

1. How was the process of creating the GMail account and setting up the Blog? Setting up the GMail account and Blog was not as complicated as I thought it would be 2. What do you expect to learn in this course? While taking this course, I expect to have a better understanding of the process of creating visual art, as well as learning to analyze and critique it. 3. How do you feel about taking an online course? I am both excited and nervous to be taking an online course. 4. What three things in the Growth Mindset (from Step 3) videos do you believe most apply to you? Working on my time management, learning where I fit in on campus, and developing a strong work ethic/studying to achieve academic goals.
