1. Explain why you selected each of the TWO videos you choose from the selection listed above.

I chose to watch Matisse and Picasso to learn more about the two painters. I watched The Mystic North to learn more about Spanish art from the past and present.

2. For each video list/discuss the key concepts you learned.

The video Matisse and Picasso discuss the connection between the two well-known artists. The Mystic North discusses several Spanish artists and their works, and well as addressing how Spanish art has evolved to the present day.

3. How do the videos relate to the readings in the text?

These two videos look at art in a more historical sense that you can also get from the text. They discuss well-known artists that are also discussed in the readings, such as Picasso. 

4. What is your opinion of the films? How do they add depth to understanding of the readings and art concepts?

These videos were pretty interesting to watch. They give you a look at art that is more "old school," whether it's work from 19th century Spain, or work from Picasso and Matisse. The videos show a few different art pieces than those in text, giving you more visuals to work with.
